This post consists of resources that I used to gather this information as well as resources that are reliable and I recommended to individuals when looking for information about vaccines. They are all linked in this post:
Center of Disease Control and Prevention: The CDC is a science and data driven organization that advocates for public health. They have great vaccine resources on their website.
Vaccines and Immunizations (main vaccines page)
- Child Immunization Schedule
- Diseases and the Vaccines that Prevent Them
- CDC Pink Book: Contains descriptions of all the vaccine preventable diseases as well as their vaccines.
The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia has a great section on their website that they refer to as their Vaccine Education Center (main vaccines page). It is a very reliable source and keeps up to date with vaccine science and safety. Here are a couple examples of the pages they have on there:
Your Baby's Best Shot: This book is a quick read that would be very beneficial to parents who are hesitant to vaccinate their children. It helps ease parents to make them aware how important it is to vaccinate their children. It is wrote in terms that anyone in the general public could understand about vaccines. I read it myself and thought this would be a great read for new parents.
World Health Organization (WHO): The World Health Organization is dedicated to work on global levels to promote the well-being and health of all individuals based on science. Linked here in this description is their page about vaccines.
Food and Drug Administration: The FDA is also a great resource as their organization is what regulates vaccines as well as clinical trials for vaccines to ensure efficacy and safety of vaccines. Linked is their page on vaccines.

I started looking at the CDC website regularly (thanks to COVID), but I have not used the other resources in this post! Thanks for sharing
